Mrs. Robert J. Wood was installed as Queen of the Nile in impressive ceremonies on March 29, 1969, in the Fellowship Hall of the Masonic Temple. This was the 50th installation of the Zora Temple, Daughters of the Nile. Mrs. Wood is dressed in a cream colored satin gown hand-embroidered with gold and pearl beads. The traditional queen's robe of rich green velvet accented by gold braid and rhinestone baguettes is draped over her shoulders. Her attendants are dressed in identical pink gowns.
