Four Shriners, each wearing the familiar fez, form a small group in the middle of the University of Puget Sound Fieldhouse parking lot on May 8, 1971. The parking lot is crowded including two long rows of school buses as the annual Shrine Circus drew large crowds to the event. The buses were used to transport children from 28 schools and organizations, including the handicapped, as guests of the Shriners on Saturday, May 8th. The circus would be in town over the weekend.
