Scope and content

Studio portrait of Grover Jackson. The photograph, taken on October 11, 1972, is signed "Grover Jackson" and "KTVW-TV." Richards Studio notes indicate that this was a publicity photograph taken on behalf of Mr. Jackson, a musician, who resided in Gig Harbor. The Grover Jackson 4 would appear in the Flagship Room of the Holiday Inn in late November of 1972. They would be presenting a country-western program of songs and comedy. A later lengthy interview in the News Tribune's "Faces & Places" column indicates that Mr. Jackson was originally from Tennessee and had his own "Country Jam" show on Saturdays on Channel 13.
