1975 Richards color stock footage. Ms.Downtown Tacoma, Donna McNamara, waves to the unseen crowd while aboard a Buick Free Spirit marked in patriotic colors. Ms. McNamara appeared at many events in the downtown area during her reign. This photograph is believed to have been taken during April, 1975, groundbreaking activities for Tacoma's convention facility, the Bicentennial Pavilion.
