These four teenage boys achieved the highest honor in Boy Scouts, the rank of Eagle Scout, in February of 1944. From left to right: Robert Hogberg, Troop 27; William Bowlin, Troop 42; Warren McNeal, Troop 21 and Fred Griffiths, Troop 27. Scouts McNeal and Hogberg received their Eagle badges on February 8 while Scouts Griffiths and Bowlin got their awards on February 25th at the annual meeting of the Tacoma area Council of Boy Scouts of America.
