Scope and content
Washington Co-op had 30 employees who went through about 10,500 eggs per day. The eggs were rated as "AA", "A" or "B" in small, medium and large sizes. If an egg did not rank in these three categories they were classified as "commercials" and sold at a much lower retail price. The cases were then sold to retail grocers, wholesale markets and to the government. View of Washington Co-op Egg and Poultry worker and eggs in self locking egg cartons.
