Tacoma Sportmen's Club was one of the many civic and social organizations that participated in the Tacoma city-wide, clean-up, plant-up, paint-up, fix-up campaign. The week long campaign was officially proclaimed by Mayor C. Val Fawcett and initiated by the Junior Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by local civic, social and community organizations.
