Three veterans enjoy each other's company. The Veterans of the Spanish American War, Department of Washington and Alaska, National Auxiliary, held their 46th annual department encampment July 17, 18 and 19, 1947, in Tacoma. The headquarters for the group was the Hotel Winthrop. 600 delegates from the 25 auxiliaries were expected from throughout Washington and British Columbia .L-R, first man is unknown, Whit H.
