Scope and content
As summer vacation came to an end in 1947, these three boys risked one last walk along one of Tacoma's railroad tracks before returning to their respective schools. They are (l tor) Harold Hickenbottom, 12, who was returning to school in Enumclaw; Marsden Harmon, 13, of Los Angeles, who was visiting his sister, Mrs. Cyrus Larmoyeux, 609 1/2 East 30th Street; and Andy (Nonie) Anderson, age 10, of 3009 North Carr Street, who was entering the fifth grade at Lowell School. Nonie has his pant legs rolled up and is walking bare footed on the tracks. (T.Times 9/3/1947 p.1) TPL-8616
