Scope and content
Saree Scott is not only wearing the impressive "Spellbound" diamond clip, but also a necklace and a 88-carat diamond clip, each made with baguette and round cut diamonds and each valued at $100,000. The "Spellbound" diamond clip is the largest single piece of diamond jewelry made in the United States. These pieces are part of the Winston collection and are insured by Lloyd's of London for $1,000,000. Harry Winston was president of New Yor's foremost diamond houses. Two men from Weisfield and Goldberg stand beside the bejeweled Ms. Scott (T. Times, 9/23/47, p. 8).
