Scope and content

The Women's Club fashion show complimented their beautiful furs with stylish hats. The models wore luxurious brown Alaska seal coats, short coats made of sheared beaver, soft wraps made of China mink, rare mutation mink scarves, fluffy fox chubby's, white fox jackets and black Persian lamb coats. This model is wearing an evening gown accented with fur on the left shoulder and below the knee area giving her a winter mermaid look (T. Times, 10/11/47, p. 9).
