Children's Industrial Home 's main facilities were destroyed by a fire caused by an explosion in 1944. The building could not be salvaged, but fortunately no one was hurt. Exterior view of Children's Industrial Home's "Play House," the nursery which was being used as housing for children, residents are playing ball and housemother is keeping them company.
