College of Puget Sound art instructors, Lynn Wentworth and Frances Chubb were presented with roses at the new art studio party, they were essential in making the new studio a success. Student art work was displayed at the official opening of the studio. The completion of the new art studio was celebrated with a tea at a "studio-warming" gathering on December 8, 1947.
