C. S. Barlow and Sons building materials business was launched in 1882 by C. S. Barlow, today his sons are running the company. The main plant is located at 1715 Dock Street in Tacoma, a south end plant and gravel pit is located in Lakewood. The Lakewood gravel pit currently has a 360 year supply of gravel, four mixers, regular screening, crushing and washing facilities.
