St. Joseph's School of Nursing program was a three year program, the approximate cost in 1948 was $400 for three years, including $50 for their uniforms. The nursing student's fees included tuition, room and board, meals, medical expenses and incidentals, fees had increased $15 from the previous years. Nursing students were required to live at the Nurses' Residence for the first 2-1/2 years.
