An All-Methodist rally was being held at College of Puget Sound in late July of 1948. Bishop and Mrs. Gerald H. Kennedy would also be welcomed at that time. Bishop Kennedy had just been newly elected to the Portland Area Conference. Tea reception honoring the new Bishop and his wife at College of Puget Sound's Anderson Hall. Left to right, Frances G. Swayze, Ruth H. Todd, Mrs. Lyle F. Drushel and Bertha W. Robbins (T. Times, 7/31/48, p. 2).
