Scope and content

On September 12, 1948, Iris Bryan put her sorrel gelding over a picket fence near the Woodbrook Riding Academy. The photograph ran in conjunction with a story on the jointly sponsored horse show May 7-8, 1949. Miss Bryan was one of the leaders in the Woodbrook Hunt Club in jumping. She would be competing against other top exhibitors from the Pacific Northwest. (TNT 5/1/1949- picture and horse show story)
