California Governor Earl Warren, Republican Vice-Presidential candidate and future Supreme Court Chief Justice, stands on the platform, below his name in heroic sized letters, during rally at Tacoma Armory. Congressman Thor Tollefson on the extreme right. As Election Day drew near, both parties were making concentrated efforts in an attempt to sway voters.
