Helander & Company. A one story residence with house numbers of 1840. A young girl stands behind a safety gate at the open front door. Helander and Company advertised "wide exposure, shake type insulated siding." For those customers interested in "that new look for homes," the firm offered new permanent siding in a variety of colors that were not asbestos or brick based.
