Dinner meeting at Kopa Chuck Lodge (Kopachuck), Condon Co., Inc., Ralph Combs. A group of Northwest artists was established at Horsehead Bay near Gig Harbor. The old corral at Kopa Chuck Lodge was taken over and made into a studio center for weaving, painting and ceramics. The studio was open to the public and dozens of visitors were entertained there. A man is demonstrating weaving to a group of five women. (TNT, 7/24/1949, p.B-3)
