This photograph from August of 1949 shows company owner Peter B. Solberg at the Timber Fabrication Company using a drill press to drill a hole through a large piece of milled lumber. The Timber Fabrication Co. was founded by Mr. Solberg shortly after WWII, and was located at 1744 No. 30th Street on part of the old Henry Mill Co. site. The company specialized in roof trusses and heavy timber framing. Peter Solberg died on February 4, 1964, at the age of 64, and shortly thereafter the business closed.
