Scope and content
On September 1, 1949, the Browns Point Guild of the Tacoma Orthopedic Association hosted one of the first fall fashion shows of the season, a "Kidyvil Fashion and Dance Review." The event, held at Wells Hall (306 N. K St.), featured fashions for the younger set, from tots to teens. These three unidentified little models, wearing the latest styles in dresses, posed for the camera by a cheery cutout of a clown in front of a circus backdrop. Entertainment was provided by a local dance studio and tea was served. (T.N.T., 8/28/49, p. D-2-article).
