Scope and content
Impeccably dressed from her hat to her white gloves to her shiny black shoes, this unidentified young lady was one of the models in the "Kidyvil Fashion and Dance Review" held on September 1, 1949. Sponsored by the Browns Point Guild of the Tacoma Orthopedic Association, the fall fashion show for childrens clothes was held at Wells Hall, 306 North K Street. Special dance numbers were used to introduce a number of the children. Tea was served to the adults guests, while the younger attendants enjoyed a special punch bowl. (T.N.T., 8/28/49, p. D-2-article).
