Cable rolls for Narrows Bridge. Ordered by Engineers Union. Production records were being set by Roebling's Sons Company's three crews in charge of spinning the cables on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge construction. The crew superintendent and foreman stated they might be able to complete the job in short order if the weather gives them a break. Rain would not stop the work but wind would. (TNT, 11/20/1949, p.1)
