The Gene Grant family of Steilacoom Lake are pictured in their sunny living room along with two dogs in May, 1950. Mr. Grant was an executive with the Cheney Lumber Co. He and his wife Esther and two daughters Karen and Kristine resided at 10422 Brook Lane S.W. The younger daughter, Kristine, and the two Scotties were later included in the News Tribune's 1950 fall fashion layout.
