Scope and content

Blue Bonnet parade in Seattle. Four young women wearing checked cotton dresses and large brimmed bonnets pose with a covered wagon drawn by two horses and driven by two men in cowboy clothes. A totem pole stands behind them and the Seattle Hotel is on the other side of one of the many streets coming together at this downtown intersection. The women appeared to be replicas of the Blue Bonnet Sue image associated with the margarine brand. Ordered by Ted Bates & Company, Benson Inge. TPL-5828
