Scope and content

Four students from Lincoln High School received diplomas in 1951 against physical obstacles that seemed at times too difficult to surmount. They studied in their own homes and worked with two teachers in the Tacoma public school system, Eunice Packard and Helen Hepp, who were on duty for such homebound pupils. Seated in their wheelchairs are Don Hart and Norma Rader; standing are Geraldine Lemna and Janice Hopkins. Ordered by the Tribune. (TNT, 6/7/1951, p.A-6)
