Officers of the Ladies Auxiliary of Tacoma Council No. 124 received auxiliary visitors to the United Commercial Travelers convention in Tacoma. The Tacoma council was organized in 1893 by Tacoma business men totaling some 23. The membership in 1951 was over 800, making it the largest council in the jurisdiction. There were 20 councils of the organization in the Pacific Northwere and 29 other grand jurisdictions in the United States and Canada. The order was fraternal and beneficial.
