Scope and content
A floral ship pulled by leaping goldfish carries a evening gown clad woman and two young sailors in the 1952 Daffodil Parade. This float was the entry by the Tacoma Savings and Loan Association and won second place in the organization division. Tacomans were warned against plucking daffodils off the floats as they passed through town as all entries had to complete the entire three-city parade route to be eligible for awards and would need every flower to look their best for judges.
