Wedding party on the altar of Epworth Methodist Church following nuptials of Bertha Bellamy and Kenneth W. Kinsey on August 23, 1952. The bride was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Bellamy of Tacoma and the groom the son of Mr. and Mrs. K. W. Kinsey of Seattle. The bride wore a white satin wedding gown with a lace bodice and long train. The bride was "given away" by her brother William Bellamy. Mrs. William Bellamy was the matron of honor and wore yellow. The bride's other attendants were Mrs. George Pretare of Seattle in lavender and Mrs. George Whitver in light green. Candlelighters were the Misses Charlotte and Frances Goodwin of Seattle, in light blue. Kerry R. Kinsey was the Best man and ushers were James R. Bellamy and Carl Dressler. The couple graduated from Stadium High School and made their first home in Tacoma. (TNT 8/31/1952, pg. D-4)
