Scope and content

Young supporters of Senator Harry P. Cain roamed the streets on Tacoma on September 6, 1952, urging voters to re-elect the Republican incumbent in the fall general elections. The senator's children, Harry P. "Buzzy" Cain ll, (second from left-back row) and Marlyce "Candy" Cain (holding basket) joined others including Bill Brown (second from right) on the sound truck caravan. Henry M. Jackson would go on to defeat Senator Cain that year. ALBUM 13
