North Pacific Bank offered free one-hour parking for their customers in 1952. A sign notes that after the free hour expires, 50 cents would be charged per hour. North Pacific's parking lot was located between Hogan's Fine Foods and South Tacoma Motor Co.'s service division. The bank itself was located at 5446-48 South Tacoma Way, along with Aetna Insurance, Wallerich Agencies, Western States Investment Corp. and City Insurance Co.
