With the arrival of spring in 1938, Eugene Brown, 1113 No. "M" and Jim Burkhouse, 1112 No. "L" went to Wright Park to try out their model sailboats. They quickly attracted a small audience, including Kenneth Lober, of 402 So. "I," who rode up on his scooter. (T.Times 3/21/1938, p.1).
