The Sixth & Washington Square Building was situated close to the new Tradewell supermarket on Sixth & Union in 1953. It was celebrating its first anniversary in May, 1953. The rectangular one-story building was divided into several sections which held among others an accountant, physician, several women's shops, State Farm Insurance, and a real estate firm.
