Scope and content
Taken from a distance, a bare ridge is carved out of the mountain side. The ridge was photographed on May 6, 1953, and was north of the Tacoma Tideflats area. Below the hillside a cloud of dust can be seen as a pickup truck passes by. There is apparently some type of business activity occurring as warehouse type structures can be spotted. There is room for expansion here as there are empty lots filled with vegetation and shrubs. Photograph ordered by Ray Farr.
