Pvt. A.M. Munro and Corp. Williams help diminutive Donna Mae Williams, Kewpie doll tucked under her arm, onto an army tank during the Army Day celebration in April of 1937. Thousands would take the opportunity to flood Fort Lewis during the day that it threw open its doors to the surrounding community and check out the changes on the Fort and the newest military equipment.
