This exterior view of Mrs. Clara H. Lea's Lakewood residence was taken on April 22, 1954. The contemporary styled home was built in 1953; it was designed by the architectural firm of Lea, Pearson and Richards. It was situated on a wooded lot on Gravelly Lake Drive, with small shrubs and trees close by. The home apparently had two chimneys and at least one dormer. White cedar shakes and white-washed brick along with large bay windows provided a pleasant appearance. The living quarters were on one level for ease of maintenance. (TNT 10-17-54. C-15)
