Scope and content
In May of 1939, the Bryant School P.T.A. and Preschool group puppeteers met at the home of Mrs. E.S. Dolan to practice scenes from an original production of "A Father Grows Up" for the State P.T.A. Convention in Wenatchee. Left to right are: Mrs. Arthur Cook, Kathryn (Mrs. E.S.) Dolan, Elizabeth (Mrs. Joseph) Turco and Mrs. Walter Browne. The play, about the problems of a 12-year-old boy, was written by Mrs. Arthur Cook and directed by Miss Regina Hoover. The puppets were made by Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Harold Stavic and Mrs. Charles B. Roe.
