Facial close up of 23 year old Margaret Franich, candidate for Golden Jubilee Queen. She is dressed in a dark dress or suit with a white collar and white wide brimmed picture hat and wears a large corsage of rosebuds. Her large eyes look out under delicately arched brows, surrounded by soft brown curls and set off by a mouth curved in a cupid's bow. She was later crowned "Miss Pierce County" and was a contestant at the Miss Washington contest, where she was the runner up to Seattle's Potlatch Queen. Miss Franich was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Franich of 1950 So "G" St. (photograph damaged around the left eye area)
