Associated General Contractors; convention. The Tacoma chapter of the Associated General Contractors played host Feb 3-4, 1955 to members from all parts of the Pacific Northwest at the first annual Convention of the Pacific Northwest Branch of the AGC. James W. Purvis, vice president of the Tacoma branch, served as convention chairman. The group met to discuss problems and procedures associated with their trade.
