Scope and content
This photograph from January 1940 shows the Buckley High School in Buckley, which was built in 1910 at a cost of $33,000. As the population in the area increased, an auditorium and a separate vocational education building (structure to the far right) were added to the school. The Buckley School District changed its name to the White River School District in 1953. A new high school was built in 1963, and the old Buckley High School is now the administration building for the White River School District.(T. Times)
