Snow Queen Wyona Diemer, center, poses with her attendants Patricia Anderson, left, and Joan Bonnell, right. Miss Diemer will rule over the 9th annual Winter Sports Carnival at Paradise Valley, January 27-28th, 1940. The Queen is a skier and a student at the College of Puget Sound. She was selected from ten candidates, all nominated by the ski clubs of local schools. Miss Bonnell is a senior at Stadium High School and Miss Anderson is a student at Pacific Lutheran College.
