A committee of seven of the Young Men's Business Club (Y.M.B.C.) Auxiliary met at the home of Astrid Anne (Mrs. Fordyce) Johnson on April 11, 1940, to plan an upcoming "blossom time" dance. The dance, under the auspices of both the men's and women's groups, would be held on Saturday, May 4th, in the Roof Garden of the Winthrop Hotel. From left to right are: Mrs. Samuel L.
