Donna is the daughter of Ralph E. and Anna Angle, the family owns Angle's Flowers located at 953 Commerce Street, Donna was an apprentice at the family flower shop. Donald is the son of Austin and Grace Cronemiller, Donald was a serviceman for Swift & Company, wholesale meat distributors. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Nicholson Bogue stand at the altar facing towards the back of the Asbury Methodist Church. They were married June 7, 1948, with Reverend Harry L. Allen officiating in the presence of 250 guests. Arnold wears a double-breasted tuxedo with black bow-tie. His new bride, the former Ella Louise Kipper, wears a formal wedding gown in the colonial style of heavy irovy satin with illusion yoke and train embellished with lace Bertha. Ella's veil is also edged with the same lace and it flows from a beaded tiara. Her bouquet of Ophelia roses and stephanotis has many ribbons cascading from it. Buness-Payne Wedding. 300-400 guests were present at the double ring ceremony uniting Evelyn Lorraine Buness and Clinton Dwight Payne on June 18, 1948. The evening nuptials were held at Bethesda Baptist Church and officiated by the Rev. Marion Flint. Louise Buness, the bride's sister, was her maid-of-honor and the groom's brother, Bud, was his best man. The bride wore a floor-length ivory satin gown with beadwork on the front. Her bouquet had a large orchid and stephanotis. Evelyn is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Buness and Clinton is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Payne. The couple both attended Lincoln High School. After their wedding trip to California and (New) Mexico, they planned to make their home at 7048 South Fawcett in Tacoma. A style show featuring a bride's trousseau occurred at the Tacoma Lawn Tennis Club during the time of the annual Delta Delta Delta Pansy Ring Tea in May, 1954. Models portraying the bridal party stand in front of the Ring of flowers. Both attendants and the bride carry wreaths of flowers, perhaps dahlias, to correspond with the circular theme. Mrs. Paul Whitcomb, the former Janet Erickson, models a wedding gown with flowing train. Mrs. Whitcomb was the former 1953 chapter president of Delta Delta Delta. Her groom in the photograph is Warren Hunt of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Mr. Hunt is a graduating senior from Puyallup, a business administration major, and former student body president. Several unidentified children crowded onto a few chairs during the festivities at Katherine June Craig's and George Vincent Rickard's wedding on July 19, 1952 at the Parkside Church. Four of the girls wore similar brocade dresses with wide ruffles at the neckline, indicating that they may have been members of the wedding party. Another girl wore a white dress with an eyelet edged ruffle. The boy on the left wore a carnation boutonniere and held a ring pillow - he must have been the ring bearer.
