This quarterly magazine “dedicated to safety in the Northwest” began March 30, 1939, under the name of Capitol Capers, which was a monthly newspaper published for Washington State workers that focused on governmental news and lifestyle stories in and around Olympia, Washington. Capitol Capers then briefly became the Washington Observer newspaper between Oct. 31, 1940 through May 20, 1941 before transitioning to the Capitol Observer that year. The Capitol Observer changed its primary focus from state government news to issues about general safety in the Spring 1958 issue and converted to a magazine format in the summer of that same year.

Cascades was a regional bi-monthly promotional and lifestyles magazine published by Pacific Telephone Northwest beginning in October 1960 until May 1961 and later Pacific Northwest Bell beginning in July 1961. Subjects featured in the magazine included history, book reviews, travel, editorials and self-promotional articles all pertaining to the Northwest region. Cascades would turn into a quarterly magazine with its Summer 1964 through Winter 1966 issues before returning to a bi-monthly publication from April 1967 through 1970. Cascades then changed again to a quarterly publication beginning in 1971.

Newsletter for the Northwest Railway Museum, which is based in Snoqualmie, Washington, in King County, that focuses on various railroad news, the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad in particular, plus activities and events held by the museum. The first publication is titled “Puget Sound and Snoqualmie Valley Railroad” (June 1976) before changing the name to "The Sounder", and the first four quarterly publications: (Holiday 1976 – Spring 1978) are in a magazine-like format. Newsletter then changed to a monthly format in 1977 and later a bi-monthly format with occasional monthly special edition issues in September 2006 and a quarterly format from Winter 2010 to the present.

Newsletter for the Washington Park Arboretum, a public park in Seattle on the shores of Lake Washington, which is managed by the University of Washington Botanic Gardens and the City of Seattle. The monthly newsletter, which later changed to a bi-monthly in 2001 and then quarterly format in 2008, focused on Arboretum news, plant sales, fundraisers, calendars of events and gardening tips.

Holdings begin with the Washington Park Arboretum (1985-1987), continuing with the Washington Park Arboretum Newsletter (1987-1988) and Washington Park Arboretum Foundation Newsletter (1988-1995), and concluding with Ground Work (1995-1997, 2001-2010).

The Peninsula Gateway is a weekly newspaper serving the city of Gig Harbor and the Kitsap Peninsula in Pierce County, Washington. It began publication in 1917 as Bay Island News and changed its name in August of 1923. Its covers mostly local events, and includes news, features, sports, editorials, classified and commercial advertisements.

The Bulletin is a monthly magazine published by the Northwest Public Power Association. It began in 1958 as the Pacific Northwest Public Power Bulletin and changed its name in 1966 to the Northwest Public Power Bulletin, and then again in 1992 to The Bulletin. Over the course of its run it changed back and forth from being published monthly or bimonthly. It covers topics related to public power in the pacific northwest region, as well as changes and activities involving public utilities.

National Railway Bulletin was a magazine published 6 times a year by the National Railway Historical Society. The magazine covered topics related to the history of railroads, trains, train travel, and famous engineers.

BING is a fan magazine published by The International Club Crosby that comes out 3 times a year, in the spring, summer and winter. It covers the life and times of Bing Crosby and is dedicated to preserving his memory and musical legacy for future generations.

The Bicycle Paper was a newspaper published 7 times a year, monthly from April through September, and one winter issue, by Seattle Publishing. It varied throughout its run from being published anywhere from 7 to 10 times per year. It published articles focused on the sport of cycling, and included topics such as trends, equipment, championships, as well as local, national and global cycling events.

The Arts was a monthly newsletter published by the King County Arts Commission. It published information about the arts as a public service for local artists and organizations, and supported local events and groups funded by the commission.

Architecture West was a monthly magazine published by Pacific Builder & Engineer, Inc. It covered western architecture and had articles on building and office designs, structural designs and materials used to build the new structures along the western states.

The Amerindian was a bi-monthly information news bulletin published by Marion E. Gridley. It covered news articles about Native tribes and events of interest to many Native groups

American West was a quarterly historical journal published by the Western History Association. It covered topics about the American West, including essays about famous figures, analysis, popular myths, historical events, maps and culture.

American Paper Industry was a monthly magazine published by PIMA, whose goal was to disseminate information relating to operation and management techniques to aid management skills in the paper industry.

American Indian Crafts and Culture was a monthly magazine published by Tyrone H. Stewart that published articles on history, costuming, crafts, and Native news, as well as book and record reviews, profiles, and features on individuals and groups.

Weekly newspaper based out of Fort Lewis, Washington, focusing on mostly local and some regional and national military news, life and sports, and also contains a local arts and entertainment guide. Holdings begin May 3, 1990 through end of production on June 15, 2018.

American Forests was a monthly magazine published by the American Forestry Association that covered articles related to forests, soil, wildlife and outdoor recreation. It also advocated for forest resources and environmental policies that would protect forests.

All Our Children: The Child Welfare Practice Digest is a quarterly digest published in collaboration by the Northwest Institute for Children and Families and the Children's Administration of the Department of Health and Social Services. It published articles and essays related to child welfare, raising children and chosen themes for each edition, such as foster care, substance abuse and education.

Akwesasne Notes: A Journal of Native and Natural Peoples was a quarterly magazine published by the Mohawk Nation Council. It covered topics related to Native American news and published contributions from readers such as essays, poetry and illustrations.

Action Bulletin was a newsletter published 9 times yearly, from September-June, by the Washington Education Association. It covered topics related to teachers, schools, students and education in general across the state.

Business Examiner was a biweekly business newspaper published by PCBE, Inc. that began in 1985 as the Pierce County Business Examiner. A second newspaper started in 1989 called the South Sound Business Examiner, and both papers ran simultaneously until they combined in 1995 as Business Examiner. It published articles about business that included profiles, trends, techniques, theories and economic issues. Its goal was to support and inform the local business community that encompassed the Puget Sound and South Sound areas.

Also in the holdings are the Business Examiner supplement "Book of Lists: Market Data & Facts", which was published yearly and featured a "compilation of industry leaders in South Puget Sound business".

Boeing Magazine was a monthly magazine that began as Boeing News, and was published for all Boeing employees by the public relations division of Boeing Aircraft Company. It started in World War II and covered stories about the latest aircraft being used in the war. It went on to cover stories about the latest models and engines being produced by the company, as well as the newest projects Boeing employees were working on.

Balls & Burlaps was a regional horticultural magazine published monthly by the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association. It covered topics related to gardening, landscape maintenance, tree, shrub and plant upkeep, as well as environmental issues and weather.

The Argus, a weekly news magazine published every Saturday, was founded in February 1894 by A. T. Ambrose, and after his death in 1900, published by co-owner H. A. Chadwick. From 1954 on it was published by the Argus Publishing Company in Seattle. The title changed to Argus Magazine in 1983. It published news, opinion and commentary pieces, and covered local and national stories, reviews of local arts, dance and theater, local court summons and obituaries.
Annual Christmas/Holiday issue was published 1901-1952, vols. for 1960- include annual supplement with title The Argus annual collector's edition.

Alki: The Washington Library Association Journal, published by the Washington Library Association, covers topics of interest to library organizations. It was mailed to all WLA members and published three times a year, with a theme for each issue. They published opinion pieces and articles covering topics related to intellectual freedom, collection development policies, literacy, outreach, public services, conferences, the changing role of library workers, continuing education, and an annual WLA Conference issue.

Migrant Education News was a monthly newspaper based out of Sunnyside, Washington. It began publication in 1987 and ended publication in 1990. Migrant Education News included local and national news and each publication included both an English and Spanish volume.
