The three-story Woman's Club House at 426 Broadway, a Tacoma landmark since the turn of the century, has been razed and only the granite foundations still stand. The wrecking of the frame building brought to light murals reminiscent of "The Student Prince" painted on the basement walls.

The Tacoma Art Museum will begin its third year in its permanent home at 12th and Pacific Avenue with a University-College Faculty Art Show which opens with a members’ preview from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
