VANCOUVER, Wash.--PLEADS GUILTY--Westley Allan Dodd is led into the courtroom in Vancouver's Clark County Courthouse Monday where he pleaded guilty to charges he murdered three young boys and tried to murder a fourth. Dodd, who went against the advice of his attorneys, faces the death penalty or a mandatory life sentence without parole for first-degree aggravated murder.

The Tacoma Art Museum will begin its third year in its permanent home at 12th and Pacific Avenue with a University-College Faculty Art Show which opens with a members’ preview from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Police and state revenue agents seized cartons of unstamped cigarettes and other Tabacco products allegedly headed for the Satiacum Smoke Shop. The raid was based on a state law prohibiting unlicensed distributors from handling unstamped cigarettes.
