Archbishop Thomas A. Connolly of Seattle smilingly greets the school children of the new St. Ann's parochial school on December 11, 1955. He is surrounded by students, their parents, and beaming nuns. Archbishop Connolly came to Tacoma for the dedication ceremonies for the $240,000 school and convent which were held with a solemn high mass and blessing of the walls and interiors.
