Five co-eds from Annie Wright Seminary wave brightly to the camera before pushing off on a wild ride on their sled at Mount Tacoma (Rainier.) On January 26-27, 1940, the students and chaperones made their annual trek to the mountain, staying two days at the Paradise Inn. Pictured, right to left, are Catherine Cowell, Patricia Clark, Mary Page Sherman, Rocelia Bordeaux and chaperone Miss Shirley Sherman, the school's physical education instructor. (T.
