Carol Blundell and Emmett Reed Miller were married August 18, 1951, at St. Luke's Memorial Episcopal Church. Carol is the daughter of Richard Archibald and Pearl H. Blundell. Emmett is the son of Ross O. and Anna F. Miller. Carol wore a gown of ivory satin with long sleeves, sheer yoke and fitted bodice. Appliques of Alencon lace provided detail at the shoulder line and the fitted satin peplum skirt over bouffant tulle extended into a circular train that was also appliqued with lace. The young women are beautifully dressed in scoop neck, claret red velveteen gowns with narrow bertha collars and elbow-length gloves, and carry long stemmed beribboned roses. Dorothy Ann Eichhorn and Spencer Kenyon Hopkins, Jr., were married September 26, 1952, at St. Luke's Memorial Church. Dorothy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Eichhorn of Puyallup and Spencer is the son of Spencer and Jean Hopkins of Tacoma. Dorothy wore a gown of Chantilly lace and satin with a fitted bodice and full skirt. Her veil was caught to a sweetheart lace cap. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and green orchids with ivy streamers and she wore a strand of pearls that belonged to the bridegroom's mother. She is wearing an ivory satin gown wtih sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. Her bridal veil of net and lace was brought from Europe by her cousin and her gown was loaned by her sister. The bride and her five attendants are standing at the altar decorated with calla lilies each holding a bouquet. Dorothy Rudolph served as Maid of Honor, Janice Ludwig and Margie Milsted were bridesmaids. Mrs. George Williams and Mrs. Richard Reyran were the candlelighters.
